Brother Edward Scanlan was President and Principal of the Christian Brothers School in Historic City Park near the New Orleans Museum of Art. He received the habit of the Brothers at age 25 and served many locations throughout the New Orleans and Santa Fe provinces. He was the Founder of the Christian Brothers Foundation; an organization which benefits the education of fellow Brothers, the retirement of Brothers and provides financial assistance to other Lasallian Schools.
