This is the life size clay sculpture of Doctor David J. Vial. It is currently being cast in bronze for the hospital’s new Patient Care Centre’ dedicated in his name. Dr. Vial unselfishly provided a lifetime of contributions to the St. Charles Parish Hospital and to the residents of this community. His support, leadership and active involvement were evidenced through his 37 years as Coroner of St. Charles Parish. He also played a significant role in the early stages and the on going development of St. Charles Parish Hospital , which is now one of most state-of-the-art and comprehensive healthcare facilities in Louisiana .
