Louisiana State University Tiger

Below are images of the clay artwork, the wax heads being touched up, and the process of applying the patina/stripes to the bronze Tiger. Also pictured is the installation of the first 2 Tigers. There will soon be a total of 5 installed on campus at the Football Operations Facility, the Football Stadium, the newly designed environment for Mike the Tiger near the Pete Maravich Assembly Center , and at the new baseball and softball stadiums. Measuring over 12’ from nose to tail, it is nearly twice life size.
